  5. 1. Brief description 
  6.  
  7.    When Windows starts up, it automatically launches a number of programs 
  8.    for you. Advanced StartUp Manager is program that allows you to control 
  9.    what programs run at system startup when you turn on or logon to your 
  10.    computer. It supports Registry, StartUp folders in the Start menu and 
  11.    Win.ini file. Advanced StartUp Manager helps you handle problems with 
  12.    programs that are automatically launched at startup by listing them and 
  13.    letting you disable, enable, delete them and so on. You can save the list 
  14.    of programs that are currently enabled or disabled as a profile that can 
  15.    be restored at a later time. This option is useful when you want to test 
  16.    several startup configurations.

  18.    The main features of the program are: 
  19.    - Comfortable graphical user interface with categories tree 
  20.    - Clipboard operations with programs
  21.    - Ability to temporary disable autostarted application
  22.    - Multiple backup configurations support 
  23.    - Start and stop of all programs from startup manually

  25. 2. Installation
  26.  
  27.    Use the following steps to install 
  28.  
  29.    If you've downloaded the self - extracting installation package named 
  30.    asum.exe just execute it and follow  the setup instructions. 
  31.    If you've downloaded the compressed archive file named like "asum.zip" 
  32.    unpack it to the temporary folder and execute the setup.exe file. 
  33.    After the succesful installation run the program from new "Advanced 
  34.    StartUp Manager" program group.

  38.    The 32-bit version requires Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000 or XP.

  42.    For full documentation, including context sensitive help,
  43.    select "Help" menu item from Advanced StartUp Manager Program group.
